On September 23, 2016 Cedar Grove Firefighters assisted Verona Firefighters at the scene of a motor vehicle crash. Verona and Cedar Grove worked together to extricate a motorist from a vehicle that crashed into a building at Route 23 and Claremont Ave. The patient was flown from the scene to a local trauma center.

Cedar Grove Firefighter fought a early morning fire in a commercial building on Oldbridge Drive. The fire was extinguished quickly. Smoke, Fire and Water damage was significant. No Injuries were reported.

Cedar Grove Firefighters take part in Townships 911 Memorial Ceremony. The event was held at Community Parks New Veterans Memorial.

Cedar Grove Firefighters provided house coverage along with Verona and Paterson while Montclair Firefighters battled a general alarm fire on Belleville Ave.
