Ex Chief Stanley Crowell, 61, of Cedar Grove, N.J., passed away on Sunday, June 2, 2019. Born in Newark, N.J. to the late William and Joanne (nee: Delezenski) Crowell, he lived in Bloomfield, N.J. before settling in Cedar Grove in 1980. He was the owner and operator of S. Crowell Electric. For over 34 years, he proudly served the Cedar Grove Volunteer Fire Department, serving as Chief in 2002-2003, and then as the Fire Prevention Director.
Predeceased by his beloved parents, and his beloved father-in-law, Gerard Del Polito, Sr., he is survived by his beloved wife, Debra (nee: Del Polito); loving children, Taylor Martinez, and her husband, Damian, Heather Sinton, and her husband, Doug, and Brittany Leuzarder, and her husband, Tim; cherished grandchildren, Austin, Charlie, Ellie, and Olivia Hope; caring siblings, Fred Crowell, Guy Crowell, Roxanne Pinck, and her husband, Rich, Mark Crowell, Glen Crowell, and Lisa Rossetti, and her husband, Michael; step-mother, Ona Crowell; mother-in-law, Domenica Del Polito; brother-in-law, Gerard Del Polito; and sister-in-law, Justina Del Polito.
