On 7-28-2026 Cedar Grove Firefighters fought a structure fire on Overlook Road. The fire occurred while the township was experiencing severe storms and lighting. Several West Essex Towns assisted. The home was vacant and under construction. The fire caused major damage. No injuries were reported.
