Cedar Grove Firefighters extinguished a small brush fire on the property of a Crestmont Road Home.
Sept. 29th 2013 Cedar Grove Fire Responds To Kitchen Fire
Cedar Grove Firefighter were dispatched to an Essex Road Residence on the report of smoke inside the house. Upon arrival firefighters found a stove fire. The fire was quickly extinguished and the stove removed. There were no injuries reported.

Sept. 25th 2013 Cedar Grove Fire Responds to Motor Vehicle Crash
Cedar Grove Firefighters responded to the scene of a motor vehicle crash in the area of RT.23 and North Bradford Ave. There was a report of injuries and at least one of the drivers was taken to a area hospital. Firefighters cleaned up a minor fluid spill and secured the power to the vehicles. Cedar Grove Police are investigating the cause of the collision.
Sept. 24th 2013 Cedar Grove Fire Responds to Motor Vehicle Crash
Cedar Grove Firefighters responded to the scene of a early morning motor vehicle crash. A vehicle had struck and severed a utility pole. The collision caused the transformer to fall into the roadway and catch fire. Public Service responded and secured the power. The fire was extinguished. Cedar Grove Police are investigating into the cause of the crash.
September 20th 2013 CGFD Responds to Minor Fuel Spill at 900 RT23
Cedar Grove Firefighters responded to a minor fuel spill in the parking lot of 900 RT.23. A broken fuel line was the cause for the leak. Firefighters assisted the motorist and he was able to drive the vehicle to his mechanic without further event.
Sept.5th 2013 Cedar Grove Fire Responds To A Wire Fire Next To Building
Cedar Grove Fire Fighters Responded to the rear of 1384 Pompton Ave. where a high voltage wire had caught fire. The fire did not extended to the building. Public Service arrived and secured the power and the fire was extinguished. No damage was reported.

Cedar Grove Fire Fighters and Rescue Squad Personnel respond to the scene of a motor vehicle crash near the intersection of Little Falls Road and RT.23. One motorist was removed from their vehicle by emergency personnel.
Wire Fire 125 Fairview Ave August 29th 2013
Cedar Grove Fire Fighters responded to the area of the former Essex County Hospital Center,125 Fairview Ave, for a wire fire. Fire Fighters stood by until Public Service Employees arrived and secure the wire.
