Firefighter responded to the Newark Water Reservoir Property for a commercial mower fire. The fire was extinguished with out incident.

Firefighters responded to a Union St. residence for a fire in a dumpster. The fire was isolated to the dumpster and appeared to be accidental.

Firefighters responded on the report of a car fire on Vincent Road. Upon arrival a small fire was extinguished without further incident. 

Cedar Grove Firefighters assisted Fairfield Firefighters at the scene of a house fire on Ralph Drive.

Two New Cedar Grove Firefighters Completed their basic fire training at the Bergen County Fire Academy.  Pictured above from left to right are Lt. Anthony Freitas , FF Craig Forte, FF Robert Carroll, Chief John Bannon, and Capt. Michael Grasso.  Congratulations!

Cedar Grove Firefighters and C.G.A.R.S. extricated two persons from a overturned vehicle. Both subjects were transported to area hospitals, Cedar Grove Police are investigating.  

Cedar Grove Firefighters responded to the scene of a motor vehicle crash. Upon arrival firefighters managed a minor fuel spill and assisted the Cedar Grove Ambulance Squad. One injury was reported, and police are investigating.  

Members of the Cedar Grove Fire Department participated in the 2016 Rescue Up Extrication Competition in Rutherford. Members were confronted with a particular rescue situation. They are timed and judged on their extrication techniques. This was the first year Cedar Grove participated and successfully completed the computation, but did not place.   

Cedar Grove Firefighters assisted Montclair Firefighters at the scene of a South Mountain Avenue structure fire. Firefighters assisted extinguishing a fire that had extended to the third floor and attic. 

Cedar Grove Firefighters along with Nutley, and Livingston Firefighters provided Coverage for Orange Firefighters while they battled a 3 Alarm Fire on Snyder Street.
