On 12-14-25 Cedar Grove Firefighters extinguished a unoccupied vehicle fire in front of the Staples Store. The fire was extinguished quickly no injuries were reported.

On 11–05–25, Cedar Grove Firefighters responded to a small brushfire in Mills Reservation. The fire was extinguished without incident.




On 10-19-2025 Cedar Grove Firefighters were dispatched to a Hillside Ave residence on a possible fire. Upon arrival firefighters found a door bell camera had caught fire. The fire was extinguished. The damage was minor and no injuries were reported.

On 8-4-2025 Cedar Grove Firefighters responded to a Mountain Ridge Drive residence on the report of a grill fire. In route the department was advised the fire had been extinguished. Upon arrival firefighters found that a exterior wall had caught fire and was still smoldering. The area was wet down and overhauled. No injuries were reported.



Cedar Grove Firefighters responded to a Highview Tr. Residence on the report of the deck on fire. Upon arrival firefighters found the deck smoldering. The fire was overhauled and the fire completely extinguishment. No injuries were reported.




06-02-2025 Cedar Grove firefighters responded to the report of a garbage truck fire. Upon arrival, the fire had been extinguished by the driver, checks for extension were negative.





On 5-11-2025 Cedar Grove Police and Fire Department responded to a car fire on Vincent Road near Lawrence Way.





5-1-2025 Cedar Grove Firefighters responded to reported truck fire. Upon arival they found the truck had lost it hydraulic oil causing a smoke condition.

On 5-1-2025 Cedar Grove Firefighters responded to the intersection of Route 23 and Montclair Avenue on the report of a fire inside the taffic control cabinet. Firefighter made entry into the cabinet and located a eletrical fire. NJ Dot and Public Service Electric responded.
