C.G.F.D Responds to Structure Fire
On 11-8-2023 at 5:47 AM Cedar Grove Firefighters were called to an Eileen Drive residence on a report of a fire. The residents had been sleeping and were woken by their detectors sounding and the home was filling with smoke. Upon arrival firefighters extinguished fire in a wall of the home. There was minor fire, smoke and water damage. No injuries were reported.

On July 3rd 2023 Cedar Grove Firefighters assisted Verona Firefighters battle a high rise fire on the 12th and 10th floors of the #2 Claridge Drive.

On January 14th 2023, Cedar Grove Firefighters provided assistance to the North Caldwell Fire Department at the scene of a house fire.

Cedar Grove Firefighters Responded to a building fire at 279 Rt.23. Upon arrival firefighters extinguished a fire on the second floor, searched, and removed several pets. No injuries were reported. The fire appears to be accidental. Verona, North Caldwell, and Montclair Fire Departments provided assistance.
