Cedar Grove Firefighters responded to a Highview Tr. Residence on the report of the deck on fire. Upon arrival firefighters found the deck smoldering. The fire was overhauled and the fire completely extinguishment. No injuries were reported.
07-21-2025 Cedar Grove Firefighters reponded to a motor vehicle crash on Fairview Ave near Myrtle Ave. The vehicke was stablized and the road way cleared of derbris. The crash is under investigation.
On 6-28-2025 Cedar Grove Police, Fire, and Montclair EMS responded to the wooded water shed property along Ridge Road on the report of a injured bicyclist. Police had located the injured person down a steep hillside. Firefighters, using ropes, packaged the person and brought him up the slope. He was transported to a area hospital.
