CGFD Monthly Rope Training
On April 27th 2026, the monthly rope training was conducted. Members repelled from a roof using Truck 74 as a high point.
CGFD Attends West Essex Drill
On 3-14-2026, Cedar Grove firefighters participated in a West Essex Fire Department Wide Drill at the Bergen County Public Safety Complex.

On 2–01–26 Cedar Grove Firefighters conducted their February monthly drill. Firefighters trained on orientated search, forcible entry and rapid intervention techniques.

06-22-2025 Cedar Grove Firefighters conducted vehicle extrication training with high pressure air bags.

On 5-20-2025 Cedar Grove Firefighters conducted motor vehicle extrication training. The training focused on vehicle stabilization.
