5-4-2025 Cedar Grove Firefighters held their monthly department drill at the Middlesex Fire Academy. The live fire training simulated fire scenarios on the second and basement floors.

C.G.F.D. Training
On 11-5-2023 Cedar Grove Firefighter hosted a Electric Vehicle Fire Nozzles demonstration. Members evaluated two separate nozzles. The nozzle are specially designed to extinguish lithium battery cell fires in electric vehicles.

On 10-25-2023 Cedar Grove hosted motor vehicle extrication training. The training was conducted by equipment manufacture Res-Q-Jack. Members trained lifting and stabilizing over turned vehicles.
