On April 5th 2021 Cedar Grove Firefighters responded to the scene of a multiple alarm fire in Orange. They were subsequently dispatched to a second fire on Scotland Road.

Police and Firefighters responded to the scene of a car fire on Pompton Avenue. The fire was extinguished quickly there were no injuries reported.
January 24th 2021 C.G.F.D. Responds to Sunrise Terr. Structure Fire
The fire was reported at 3:56 pm. Cedar Grove Fire Fighters extinguished the fire quickly, however there was extensive damaged to the home. One person was transported to an area hospital for smoke inhalation.

On January 7th 2021 at 5:30 Am the Cedar Grove Fire Department responded to a Center Avenue residence for a reported fire. The fire was extinguished quickly, no injuries were reported.

On 12-27-2020 At 9:43 Am the Cedar Grove Fire Department responded to the scene of a fire in a Grove Avenue Business. The business was closed and fire was extinguished quickly, there were no injuries reported.

On November 11th 2020 C.G.F.D. Responds to Ridge Road and Route 23 to the scene of a Motor Vehicle Crash with Extrication. One subject was removed and transported to a local hospital.

Cedar Grove Firefighters Responded to a building fire at 279 Rt.23. Upon arrival firefighters extinguished a fire on the second floor, searched, and removed several pets. No injuries were reported. The fire appears to be accidental. Verona, North Caldwell, and Montclair Fire Departments provided assistance.
